Give new meaning to the saying, “Wake up and smell the roses,” as you will discover there are places teaming with incredible floral decor. These floral escapades will require that you bring along your digital camera because you will want to capture some incredibly beautiful shots.

Tulip Fields in Beautiful Holland

Holland with its ambient marine temperatures is a visitor’s delight especially during the spring time. Holland’s flower fields team with colors such as yellow, red and pink tulips. You will find that the best place to enjoy this floral escapade will be Keukenhof where you can enjoy a decorative display of Dutch tulips. Make it an all out excursion by biking your way from Zandvoort to Keukenhof. This way you can also catch some wind surfing in Zandvoort making your vacation filled with beauty and adventure. Stay in complete comfort in hotels that accommodate the basic budget to those who are able to splurge.

Wisteria Flower Tunnel in Kitakyushu, Japan

Now this is one walk that you will never forget. Surrounded with purple and white this floral escaped takes you to northern Japan. The sunlight hits the tunnel just right for a glow of cascading flowers that give it a soft look in the wisteria tunnel. The elegantly pastel flowers in Kawachi Fuji Gardens will make you feel like a princess that in a fairy tale come true. You will also thoroughly enjoy yourself in this historically technological city that gives you plenty of entertainment and relaxation. Visit historical sites like the Kokura Castle Japanese Garden. You will have a variety of choices to stay in this city that consist of over a million people.

Shibazakura Flowers, Takinoue Park, Japan

You can enjoy more of Japan’s floral beauty when you venture off to Takinoue Park when you head a little south to Hokkaido. You will find the hills of this park in Takinoue Town that appear to be painted in beautiful pink. These beautiful flowers are know as Shibazakura. They are from a plant of the genus phlox. Arrive in time for the Shibazakura Festival which is at the beginning of May to June. This is an excellent place for you to relax and be sure to be camera ready for some excellent shots of the hills. Expect to spend a minimum of two hours to make the most of you time, but more would be great.

Lavender Fields Provence, France

Lavender is such a beautiful flower with an excellent aroma this will always remind you of Provence, France. In mid July to August would be the best time to plan this floral escapade. Enjoy the various activities taking place all around such as crafts of lavender. Take a taste of lavender honey that bees produce in that area. All this make for an all out lavender shopping day. Receive artistic stimulation if you are a photographer or painter as you capture the beauty of the lavender fields. This southern France location has additional floral attractions for you to enjoy. You can also have the pleasure of watching the beautiful sunflower fields as they take in the rays of the sun.

Canola Flower Fields, China

China’s ever mystic nature brings you awe with hills standing as islands in a sea of yellow. These fields are often referred to a “Golden Sea” that seems to stretch for miles. Get a glowing glimpse of sunset that colors the sky in rich colors making the golden flower seem to fade and stand out their green leaves. You will find that Luoping County is the ones who primarily produce canola and many fields are found there. They also take on the production of honey. This location has been predominately made famous by photographers, so this is a perfect place for some awe struck photos you can take home to share with friends and family.
